About Us
Delivering genetically superior breeding stock.
Our love affair with llamas began in 1992. What began with packing expanded into raising and showing fancy breeding stock. Our focus is producing stretchy colorful llamas with presence and pizzazz. Their fiber is generally suri or silky. Doing well in the showring is a must, as we compete in the national marketplace. Also, those blue ribbons verify that our goals are being met.
Beyond that we want them to be genetically superior for breeding and mothering skills. We do not want just another pretty face. Black Tie Llamas is to be synonymous with quality, service, and satisfaction. We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience with new owners. Our hope is that our beloved llamas will be a permanent resident at their new homes. They will be trained with this in mind.
